Your rent choices for April 2024
At this time of year, we start planning our next budget and financial year (which begins on 1st April 2024).
We have a 30-year business plan which considers how much money will be needed to ensure we are able to provide you with essential repairs, housing officer support and advice services as well as investment in your home (such as the replacement of doors, windows, heating systems, kitchens, and bathrooms, over the longer term).
We also want to keep rents affordable as we know the cost-of-living crisis is putting everyone under pressure and we want to continue to provide financial and tenancy support services to support you through the cost-of-living crisis.
Like all organisations, the Association continues to experience significant cost pressures, particularly in the areas of repairs, materials and keeping your home safe. Whilst we want to absorb as much of this cost pressure as possible to limit rent increases, it is necessary to raise our rents, so we welcome your feedback.
