Tartan lunch kick-starts community get together in Port Glasgow
Residents from Port Glasgow town centre enjoyed a tartan lunch at St John’s church hall, Port Glasgow, on Wednesday.
Link Housing Association, in partnership with Larkfield Housing Association, invited its residents to enjoy a hot meal and an afternoon of music and poetry.
Lynne Griffin, area manager at Larkfield, said: “We are delighted to be able to host events like this to bring the community together.
“It was great to see the community enjoying themselves and we’d like to thank the pupils of St John’s Primary for their renditions of traditional Scottish poems, and students from Inverclyde Academy for preparing a delicious meal.”
